From the street, the building looks amazing. Inside, though, dust covered the reception desk, stairs and room. There seemed to be almost no staff: nobody showed us to our room or checked our reservation. Eventually we found the janitor, who gave us a key. The shower was unusable. There were brown and red stains of dubious origin on the walls, doors, curtains and bed sheet. There’s no breakfast area at this “hotel”; you have to go outside to Tarsanis hotel. If you’re lucky enough to find anyone there, the same janitor serves a very small menu: bread and butter, coffee, omelette and orange juice. The owner turned up eventually, after we’d spent the whole morning waiting, and would only accept cash. The price is below average for the location, but does your health have a price?

The location is good and the air conditioning works great, but the bathroom is tiny, with no shower curtain and nowhere to hang the showerhead. The mattress stinks, and the thin sheet on it doesn’t get cleaned every day. There’s no curtain on the window beside the room door, so people in the hallway can look toward the bed. Breakfast is very meagre, with hardly anything to put on the bread.

The owner was aggressive and wouldn’t communicate, and the place is horrible and outdated. Mobile phones get no reception, and the Wi-Fi works for five minutes in an hour. The bathrooms flood when you shower, and the towels have holes you can see the street through. Not funny. Please do NOT stay here UNLESS you want a sad holiday experience.
