The location works well, and the rooms are simple but practical. There's a washing machine, a roomy fridge, kettle, and small stovetop, plus strong air conditioning that made the stay comfortable. Wi-Fi was fantastic, and the room was cleaned regularly. A really good budget option.

I found the cleanliness far below basic standards. The room clearly hadn't been properly cleaned before I arrived: the floors looked dirty, the linens seemed unwashed, and the bathroom wasn't maintained well. Hygiene is essential for a comfortable stay, and this place fell seriously short.

The location was handy, with the beach two minutes away and the city center about a 20-minute walk. There was no parking right in front, but free spaces could be found on nearby streets. We stayed for 10 days in September, and the apartment was dirty when we arrived. There was hair on the floor, in the tub, and even in the fridge. Some dishes were greasy, the kettle was heavily scaled, and although the sheets and towels were clean, they had stains. We tried to find someone to ask for a cleaning, but couldn't reach anybody for the next nine days. It felt like there was no interest in the guests, which was very unprofessional.

We had a lovely stay here in July 2017. The hosts were so friendly and welcoming, and even showed us a beautiful spot with waterfalls in the middle of the island. The apartments were clean and close to the beach. There's a cozy rooftop bar where we had breakfast, a small buffet with water, juice, and coffee included. The food was tasty and inexpensive. A really nice place for a vacation :)

The apartments were nice and clean, and it was a pleasant walk along the beach into Rethymno. Irini and her husband were friendly and pleasant too. We did have a run of small problems in our apartment: a loose faucet, clogged drain, broken hairdryer, a stove that had to be unplugged to turn off, fridge doors that wouldn't close properly, and wall lamps with broken sockets. The hosts fixed some things right away, but couldn't get to everything while we were there.
