We had a fantastic week at Le Bijou Luxury Suite in Rethymno, and the villa exceeded what we expected. Lena kept in touch before our arrival, replying promptly and sounding genuinely excited to host us. When we got there, owners Mariella and George showed us around their beautiful villa and explained how things worked. The place is stunning, furnished beautifully, with excellent finishes and attention to detail. The apartment had everything we could need, including A/C, fans, a washing machine, iron and ironing board, dishwasher, large fridge, and cooking facilities. The pool was great for cooling off in the Greek summer. Mariella and George also suggested places to visit and eat. One local Tavern was especially memorable, where George sometimes sings traditional Greek songs with his musician friend. It was a lovely start to the holiday. The villa is private, in a pretty little alleyway in Old Town, and within walking distance of restaurants, beaches, and supermarkets. There’s lots to see and do in Crete, and we’d love to return. Thanks for a wonderful stay.

Giorgos was the best host we’ve had at a vacation rental, and the unit was pristine. After exploring all day, we loved winding down in the rooftop hot tub, with 360 views of the old town. The location is excellent, close to the Fortezza and Port. Giorgos’s restaurant tips were right on. We especially liked the Syntrofi Co-op and the spinach feta pie from the bakery around the corner. We also found free overnight street parking less than five minutes away. Such a memorable stay, highly recommended.

Wow, the ground-floor suite with its own pool was lovely. Le bijou is a great choice for a holiday in rethymno, with a high-spec place and everything needed to cook for yourself. The air con cools it down in seconds, and the little pool is perfect for cooling off. The owners made us feel welcome and were happy to offer recommendations or help with anything else. We spent a week here and I highly recommend it!

A beautiful apartment with everything you need, right in old town near great restaurants and gift shops. It’s a 20-minute walk to the beach. The owners were really friendly and helpful, always on hand when needed. Absolutely amazing.
