Our upgraded room and the breakfast terrace had amazing views. The reception men team deserve special thanks for helping us. Check-in and checkout were easy, and the staff were friendly. The rooms are modern and comfortable. Breakfast was nice, though Sunday morning had more people and a wider choice than Monday. We were there for our birthdays, so a small gesture like biscuits, a fruit plate, or a card would have been lovely. There were too many lights that stayed on at night, so sensitive sleepers might want sleep masks. The bathroom area smelled of cigarette smoke. It’s not too far to the center, but the walk back is uphill. Keep going!

The only real issue for me was getting to town. It’s not far from the center, but the walk is steep and the road has no clearly marked sidewalks, which is difficult if you have mobility issues. I checked Google maps before booking, and it described the route as ‘mostly flat’! The hotel itself is modern, with a pool, gym, and spa. Rooms are spacious, clean, and come with balconies. Staff were helpful and friendly, and spoke excellent English. A very good breakfast is included in the room rate.

The staff made a huge difference to how much we enjoyed our stay. They really went out of their way to make sure we were having a good time. The hotel is tastefully put together, and its facilities and amenities are all of a very good standard. We’ll absolutely return, and I highly recommend it.

We spent 12 wonderful nights here. The pool is beautiful, and the terrace has a wonderful view. Breakfast was good, parking was available, and the rooms and overall cleanliness were at an enviable level. Staff were extremely friendly, always smiling, and there whenever you needed them.

Breakfast offered good choices and came with a great view. Our room was spacious enough for us and spotless. The service was very good from the beginning of our stay right through to the end. A perfect place in Rethymno, highly recommended.
