Morfeas City Hotel

The reception staff were polite and friendly, and the hotel itself was nice enough. But the room wasn’t what we’d expected for €90 a night. It was a dark basement room without a proper window, just a tiny frosted vent-like one near the ceiling that opened straight onto street level. A bright streetlight sat right overhead at night and shone into the room the whole time, with no way to block it out.

The hotel looks stunning, and the rooms are very modern with all the facilities. Its location is perfect, with restaurants and bars right nearby. I was traveling on my own and felt very safe. I’d absolutely recommend it.

Kostas, Eva, and housekeeper Annette were especially wonderful, and the hospitality from everyone was fantastic. The staff at Morfeas welcomed us warmly and suggested some of the nicest places to visit in Rhodos. Great local restaurants and shops are all within a five-minute walk, while the bus stop and beach and harbor are about seven minutes away. Our rooms were cleaned impeccably every day, and we were very happy with them.

After two long days of travel, my friend and I got a warm welcome from the owners at the front desk, and they helped carry our bags up to the room. It was brand new, with a flat-screen TV, a spacious shower with two shower heads, a vanity mirror, and another vanity in the bedroom. The location was spectacular, just five minutes from local shops, restaurants, and the mandraki. I’d recommend it to all my friends and hope to stay again on my next visit to Rhodes.
