Villa Rododafni

We had a wonderful stay, thanks to the warm and lovely hosts. Whenever we asked for something, like using the grill, they helped us get it ready and showed us how to use it. Our rooms were always spotless, and the apartments were nicely decorated. They also have a lovely garden. We'd absolutely recommend this place, and if we visit Corfu again, we'd stay here for sure. Thank you!

The apartment was cute and had everything we needed, and the garden was beautiful. Our host was friendly and quick to communicate. It's on a busy road, but that didn't bother us. Roda is a ten minute walk away, and it's a good base for exploring Corfu.

We loved our stay at Villa Rododafni and would be glad to come back. The family who hosted us were the nicest hosts we've ever met. The setting is beautiful and the beach is easy to reach. The apartment was very clean and had modern furnishings, with AC and WiFi in every room. There’s a huge garden, a lovely place for a family. Thanks for the wonderful days. I highly recommend it.

Apartment 5 was a very basic place, and after seeing the photos of modern apartments with fitted kitchens and proper baths, it felt poor value. Check in with the owner was quick. The apartment was cleaned and bins emptied daily, with towels and sheets changed too. We liked sitting at the terrace table and looking out over the large, quiet garden, which leads to a road that can get fairly busy. The apartments are about a ten minute walk from Roda. The front door had a gap underneath, so worms or lizards from the garden could get in when the light was on. Unlike some of the other units, the windows and doors had no mosquito nets. It was hot, so we needed the air con, but we would have preferred to open the window. The Greek bed was hard, though we got used to it. There was enough storage, but our suitcase had to stay open under the bed. The kitchen was old, with cabinets that could do with replacing. The very old stovetop took a long time to heat up and cool down, not great in summer, and the table had a plastic cover. WiFi kept cutting out for long stretches, the TV remote didn't work, and its cling film covering didn't seem to help. The plastic concertina bathroom door was noisy, especially at night. There are better, more modern apartments in Roda for the money. We won't stay here again, and I wouldn't choose apartment 5.
