I really enjoyed staying at Ifigeneia in Sami. It’s close to the town centre but tucked into a peaceful spot where you can relax, and there’s free parking in the yard with easy access. The owner was easy to reach from the start, and the place was clean with enough amenities for a comfortable visit. There’s a pool too, which we didn’t use but was a nice option. We were delighted with the stay and would gladly return.

The setting is wonderfully quiet, surrounded by small farms with goat bells and the occasional peacock call. It’s about a 10 to 15 minute walk into Sami, and having a car isn’t essential. The apartment is lovely, with modern decor and a well-equipped kitchen: plenty of utensils, a full hob and oven, and a large fridge freezer. There’s lots of hanging and shelf space, good quality linen, and a soft, very comfortable bed and pillows. I was especially glad to find a full-length mirror, which is often missing from places like this. Parking is on site, and the pool is a good size for the property and was hardly used. Iffy, the lovely owner, and her brother Costas, who lives there, were both really helpful. I’d definitely stay again.
