We arrived around 10 at night to find the hotel shut, with only a phone number on the door. When we called, they said we had to go to another hotel and claimed they had emailed us about the change. That email had never arrived. My 81-year-old grandfather and the rest of us had to walk there with our suitcases. At the new place, My Life Suites, nobody was around at reception or nearby. They told us the three rooms we’d been assigned should be open, but one was locked. On the phone, they said we could squeeze into two rooms or wait three hours. There were six adults and only two double beds, and by then it was 11 PM, so we pushed back. They first said someone could come in an hour, then a person showed up within ten minutes. The sign called the hotel four-star, but that wasn’t true. The furniture was old and run-down, the showers were in bad shape, and the bathrooms were very uncomfortable. At least one room had mold on the walls and ceiling. There was never anyone at reception during our stay. Don’t book with these scammers.

This was completely misleading. The hotel was closed when I arrived, and only after calling the number on the door did I learn I’d been moved to another place without being told. The Blue Suites hotel they sent me to was a disaster. Someone would enter my room with keys and wake me up, sometimes in the middle of the night and sometimes during the day. There was no front desk or manager to complain to, and the person in charge couldn’t tell me when I was meant to check out. The worst hotel for a holiday.

The room was dirty and tiny, with a small window looking into a little courtyard. I arrived by ferry in the middle of the night and felt I had no choice but to pay for another night. They advertise express check-in and check-out, but that wasn’t how it worked. Payment was taken as soon as I booked. Even after I paid for the extra night, someone from the hotel kept messaging me that another person had paid and demanding more money. The pool is at a different hotel, ten minutes away on foot. The website photos are from another property, and the facilities are very poor. I won’t return and don’t recommend it.

The advertising is fake, and the price is too high for what you get. There was no jacuzzi, the decor was just okay, and the small room was partly ruined by humidity. The Booking photos show another hotel, Blue Suites, which has the same management. They took us all the way there, then sent us back to where we’d started walking because they wouldn’t answer the phone. Poor service. I don’t recommend it.
