Aura Suites

The view was incredible, the rooms were huge, and the hot tub made the stay even better. I felt looked after and welcome as soon as I arrived. Everything about the place was wonderful. I'd give it more than five stars if I could, and I'm coming back on my next trip to Santorini.

The rooms were clean and updated, and the location was amazing. Our hot tub never got warm, so the evening temperatures kept us from sitting outside. Also, be careful booking the Honeymoon Suite, since our view was obstructed.

The hotel is quiet, clean, and well located, and our room was nicely furnished. The airport ride arranged by the staff went smoothly: the driver was professional and charged the quoted fare. The rest of our experience fell short, though. Our room's outdoor tub barely worked and wouldn't switch off. We told the front desk, but it wasn't repaired while we were there. Later, the hotel booked our ride to the ferry port and gave us a price. The driver demanded cash, wouldn't take a card, and charged 50% more. When we complained, we were told the hotel wasn't responsible for the rates, even though it had quoted and arranged the service. The general manager's email response felt dismissive and defensive. Instead of offering help or showing concern, they told us not to send “intimidating” emails about leaving a review. It came across as a warning, not customer service. Santorini itself was magical, and the hotel could have been a highlight. Instead, we left with a bad impression. Be cautious about booking services through the hotel, since there seemed to be little accountability when something went wrong.

Room 3 had what I'd call the best view on the island, and the place was neat with everything we needed. Its own jacuzzi and semi-private terrace felt like a private spot, since the neighbors were respectful. I'd definitely recommend this place in Firostefani.
