Afoura Houses

We had a great family and friends stay at the Afoura apartments. There were two families with children, and the kids had plenty of room to run around and play. The area was quiet, and the apartment was beautifully decorated. The host supplied towels, toilet paper, a few dishwasher soap tabs, a hair dryer, washing machine, iron, and ironing board. The pans and iron need replacing, though. We wanted to cook eggs but didn’t use the pan because it was so scratched. The iron was in poor shape and had lots of calc; when I used it, it left stains on my husband’s shirt. There were ants in the apartment too, and the host should deal with that. Even with those problems, we had an amazing stay and I’d book again if I return to Santorini.

The host was so nice and had chilled water waiting when we arrived. The house was beautiful, with lovely views and a spectacular interior. The shower was great, the bed extremely comfortable, and the wifi worked really well.

Sleeping in an old winery is an experience in itself ❤️ We loved sitting on the awesome terrace, looking out at the sea and star-filled sky. It was super quiet in winter, a place worth seeing.

We only had a short stay and wished we could have stayed longer. This little hotel has lots of character. Alda was kind, friendly, and easy to communicate with, and gave us a great tip for a local restaurant.
