Armenaki Santorini

We stayed in the Alitana Suite, and it was a clean, cozy place to come back to after exploring. It looked just like the photos on the booking sites. From the patio and pool, we could enjoy Santorini’s views privately, away from the crowds. They also cleaned the pool to clear away the flies you get around the island. Breakfast was included and delicious, my partner enjoyed every bit of it. Fei and her team made the stay especially memorable. They carried our luggage down the cliff, welcomed us with a fruit platter for our engagement, and even helped wash my pants after a cat peed on them. It’s definitely pricey for Santorini, but I felt we got good value across the board. We’d come back to Armenaki for a more luxurious holiday.

We got there after a long flight delay with only an hour before checkout, and the reception team still made it work. They showed us to the suite and let us keep it until check-in at our next hotel. They also brought out an enormous, incredible breakfast, plates and plates of fresh, delicious food. We managed to sleep and rest, and woke up feeling relaxed. The care and hospitality turned hours of travel stress around in just a few hours. My only regret is that we couldn’t stay longer. We’ll definitely come back, and I can’t recommend the place enough.

The view made it possible to have breakfast or a glass of wine at sunset and just take it all in. The room was beautiful and conveniently located for everything. We stayed in the Caldera Residence with plunge pool. It was just my husband and me, though there would still have been plenty of room for two more. Fei, Yannis, and the rest of the team really stood out. Fei was thoughtful and helpful from before we arrived right through checkout. This stay was the highlight of our Santorini trip and made the whole visit.

Room 4 lived up to everything we expected, and we’re really going to miss Armenaki. The terrace had the kind of views you picture when you think of Oia. Fei looked after us so well, arranging transfers and sharing recommendations and bus details. A must visit.
