The steep stairs were a real problem for us. Anyone with a disability, older guests, small children, or people afraid of heights may find staying here difficult. Knowing about them beforehand would have changed my choice, since they added a lot of anxiety. The staff were kind and carried our bags down, and brought breakfast to the room. But housekeeping didn’t make up the room or leave clean towels. The manager responded quickly and had towels sent up. We were also woken in the middle of the night by loud banging in the pipes. Maybe it fixed the hot water shortage from the evening before, but it cost us our sleep.

You could easily stay put and enjoy the views here. The hotel is right by Oia Castle, with sunset scenery and blue-domed churches visible from its position jutting out over the cliff. The location is hard to beat, and the rooms and service were great too. Mike and Antonio were especially friendly and helpful.

Costas gave us such a warm welcome, and breakfast showed up right on our gorgeous terrace. The accommodations were lovely, with a warm jacuzzi. We were right beside the Oia sunset viewpoint, an amazing location. Thanks for the wonderful memories of Oia ♡

Nikolas and George were friendly and took care of everything, from meeting us when we got off the airport bus and carrying our bags to the room to fixing the toaster. They cleaned and made up the room while we were out, whenever that happened to be. The rooms are cut into the South Cliffs, so the busy street noise fades as you head down the steps. The views over the ocean and OIA South cliffs are excellent.

The cave rooms are charming and well maintained. It’s a lovely little hotel beside Oia Castle, and the service and transportation were incredible. A must-stay.
