We came with Wing Buddy, and this was our final stop. The owners went out of their way to accommodate us, helped sort out travel to Santorini and Oia, and suggested some great places to eat. The buffet breakfast was amazing, and there's a beautiful beach nearby with plenty of restaurants to choose from. I really think the hotel deserves more than three stars, and we'd happily recommend it.

We spent four peaceful, relaxing nights here from Sept 24, 2025, and I'd come back to Santorini just to stay at Hotel Matina again. They even gave me the ground-floor room I requested, which mattered since I was travelling alone and would have struggled with the stairs. The location is spot on, just a three-minute walk to a supermarket, bakery, restaurants, and the beach in Kamari. For the quality, it's very reasonably priced. The rooms have everything you could need, the property is immaculate, and the staff are so kind and helpful. Truly spectacular service and a wonderful hotel. ❤️

Elias made us feel almost at home, and the receptionist knew the island inside out and gave us good recommendations. Everyone was so pleasant and kind. It's a small, family-run hotel with 30 rooms, less than a five-minute walk from the beach. Breakfast was great, and you can tell they really put effort into it. This place is a gem, with plenty to praise.

A fresh, delicious breakfast every morning and a few minutes' walk to the beach, with loads of places to eat and drink nearby. Hotel Matina is beautiful and the service is amazing. I'd absolutely stay again if I return to Santorini, and would recommend it to family and friends.

The beach, shops, and supermarket are all an easy walk from this quiet hotel, which has everything you need for a restful stay. The rooms have air conditioning, a fridge, and a balcony, and there's also a pool to relax by. It's a small, family-owned place, and the friendly staff are passionate about the island and share lots of ideas for things to do. I'd recommend it if you want somewhere peaceful close to the beach.
