Villa Lukas

The view was spectacular, and the location was fantastic. The hotel’s restaurant tips were right on, especially Anogi, which was exceptional. The staff were lovely throughout, very friendly and helpful, and we appreciated that a lot. Our clean, comfortable room wasn't one of the newly renovated rooms shown on the hotel’s Instagram, and the bathroom felt dated. I imagine it's due for a makeover soon, which would be great, but it was disappointing given what we expected. The AC was the biggest problem. The room was very hot when we arrived, and despite staff assuring us it worked properly, it didn't cool the space effectively. After three weeks in similar weather and several places with excellent air conditioning, this really affected our comfort. Both nights of our two-night stay were uncomfortably warm. The hot tub was also a little disappointing, not the cleanest, and its bubbles were quite weak. Some maintenance would help. This was the most expensive hotel of our trip, so we came with high hopes. It didn't fully meet them, though I think this room has a lot of potential and a few key upgrades could make it outstanding. This is an honest review, not a negative one.

The staff were quick to respond and supportive. We stayed in a beautiful Cave Suite with a great view, close to everything but not surrounded by crowds. A good spot if you like walking. Villa Lukas was just right for our Santorini stay, a great find!

Gorgeous villa in a gorgeous area. Claude brought us lovely breakfast every day with a smile. Such an amazing experience, can't wait to return.

The morning breakfast service was wonderful and made a great start to each day. The staff were more than accommodating, and the view went beyond what I expected. Villa lukas really is a gem. I couldn't have picked a better place to stay in Santorini, and I can't say enough good things about it.
