Zennova 65 Villa Vanina

We had a great family holiday here, even though the weather was unusually cold. The heat pump kept the whole house warm. We were eight people across three generations, from a baby to someone nearly eighty, and the house was thoughtfully set up for a relaxing stay. There were plenty of quality towels and bed linen, and lots of crockery, glassware, and kitchen gear. We got the hang of using coffee pods and liked the choice in local supermarkets. TVs were on every floor, but after dinner we usually gathered downstairs, where the children introduced us to the Percy Jackson series. Greek heroes, gods, and goddesses made it a perfect fit for our holiday in Greece. The location is convenient, not far from the old town, close to several supermarkets on the main road, and a short walk downhill to the sea. From the ground-floor terrace we could see olive groves and a field of bee-hives to the left. The sunsets were beautiful, and from the top floor we could just glimpse Mount Olympus. The nearest beach was great for swimming. A little further left was the Marina, where we saw boat trips advertised, including fishing trips. Beyond it were the bars, restaurants, and little shops selling gifts and holiday basics like sandals, sun hats, and beach towels. The swimming pool wasn’t ready when we visited, but it didn’t matter with the sea so close. The owners wanted feedback, so we mentioned that the stairs were difficult for our senior family member because there were no handrails. We had a wonderful time.

The quiet setting made this a lovely getaway, while beaches and tavernas were still close by. We had a fantastic stay in the comfortable house near Nikiti. Inside, it was stylish, clean, and so well equipped that it felt like home.
