We liked the room and its view, and the pool area and restaurant were nicely furnished. The beach was pleasantly close, and its sunbeds were fine. The sea was beautiful, though that’s not really a hotel service. We also rented a car and had a pleasant day out. The food ranged from average to below average. There was always plenty and something to choose, but the meat was dry and the vegetables, rice, and pasta were mushy from overcooking. I found the cakes disgusting, with margarine, too much sugar, and artificial flavors, though I can imagine some people liking them. Water, sparkling water, wine, lemonade, and beer were fine. The all-inclusive coffee was instant from odd machines, so to me it might as well not have been included. Our main contact was the bartender, who was unpleasant, seemed annoyed, and sometimes ignored us. Maybe he didn’t speak English well, or maybe he’d had enough by the end of the season, since we were the last guests. It spoiled the first few days, though we got used to it later. The lady at the food counter, on the other hand, was delightful and always smiling. The bathroom had very weak water pressure, a faucet that kept coming loose from the wall, and a really strong sewage smell from the drains. The included table tennis gear was worn out, with a broken ball and old paddles. Billiards, air hockey, and all hard alcohol except ouzo cost extra. Even with the all-inclusive discount, drinks, shots, and proper coffee were quite expensive. A vodka shot was about 8 euros. It was an average stay in a nice hotel. I wouldn’t go back, mostly because it wasn’t for me.

We had a great time, and the staff kept making sure we were comfortable. When we asked, the reception ladies moved us to another room. The food was good, too. My friend needed gluten-free food, and they always had it, including sweets when we asked. The dining staff were polite, helpful, and smiling throughout. Thanks so much!

The food was great, and the staff were very kind and helpful. The location was decent, though the rooms sit on a steep hill, and sometimes we waited up to 10 minutes for the golf cart. Aside from one issue, we had a lovely stay. The problem was the drinking water, which is why I didn’t give five stars. We were told not to drink the tap water, but the water provided with all-inclusive tasted just as bad. Bottled water was available at the bar for a ridiculous price. A supermarket four minutes away by car sold six bottles for what the hotel charged for one. For what you pay, especially for an all-inclusive package that isn’t cheap, I found it disappointing to have to pay extra for drinkable water. A tip we only discovered on our last day: you can play tennis for free on a nice beach court at hive water park. No one had mentioned it to us.

The rooms were clean, and we found sweets in the fridge and water waiting in ours. Breakfast was good, with options from 8:00 - 10:30, and the staff were kind and helpful. In the evenings people enjoyed drinks and snacks at the bar, plus the pool and air hockey. There’s a pool, and Trypiti beach, the cave, and the waterpark are very close. The hotel is somewhat isolated, so you need to drive to other taverns, shops, or Limenaria promenade. You also have to cross the main road to reach the beach. The Wi-Fi was very poor and didn’t work in the evenings. Outside gets really dark, at least around the first building, with no garden lights. We like some light coming into the room, so bring a small plug-in light if that matters to you. The sheets and towels were a bit worn.

The food deserves 5 out of 5. Breakfast was the same each day, while lunch and dinner changed daily. It tasted very good, though the selection was limited. The staff get 4.5 out of 5: reception, waiters, bartenders, and drivers were friendly and tried to help. One bartender was quite unfriendly during one of the first days, perhaps something had happened, and that affected my rating. The hotel is stylish, but I’d give it 4 out of 5 overall. It seems more rooms have been added since it opened, and the facilities struggled with the number of people. Some cosmetic repairs are needed. We got 5 out of 5 for quiet, though we were lucky with our neighbors. The walls barely block sound, so noisy neighbors could have spoiled the rest. Our rooms were far from the pool, which helped keep noise down. Entertainment gets 2 out of 5. The music was good but so quiet you couldn’t hear it at the pool. The hotel’s DJ and aqua aerobics were very unpleasant. The friendly hotel’s offerings felt like a way to sell tickets and promote an additional dinner.
