Lydia Studios

It’s a quiet place, just a two-minute walk from the beach, and you can see the sea directly from the room balconies. The rooms were just as pictured and very nice. Our host was kind, and checked with us every day to see if everything was okay.

We canceled after arriving because the four-bed sea-view apartment and parking we had booked through Booking weren't available. The landlady said she had no four-bed apartments with a sea view, and the only parking option was on a narrow street out front. She said she hadn't been paid the €190 and told us to cancel if it didn't suit us, saying she had other guests interested. We went to a place next door instead, but €190 was taken from our account that same day. I messaged her, but she read the messages and never replied. Booking told me a refund was up to the landlady, despite her telling me to cancel and saying she wouldn't be charged. We went back and couldn't find her, and plan to go again. This happened on 3/7/2023, and she still hasn't responded. I told her I would post reviews like this everywhere and remove them if she returned my money. A terrible experience; we felt deceived.

Scala Marion is the most beautiful place, in my opinion, and the sunsets are gorgeous. Our room was spotless, with towels and sheets changed every day. Lydia was so kind and attentive, always checking that we were okay. We felt right at home and I totally recommend it.

Lydia Studios was lovely, and I hope to be back next year! Everything was fresh and very clean. Lydia, the owner, was friendly and open, took care of everything, and was extremely responsive to all our requests.
