There's a supermarket and plenty of tavernas just down the road, and frequent buses make it easy to get into Skiathos Town. The staff were all very polite and friendly, and always ready to help. We love staying at the Atrium hotel and would come back. It's a beautiful, relaxing place with stunning views, and the beds are so comfortable that we've been sleeping really well. Just be aware that there are lots of levels and quite a few steps, depending on where your room is.

The views are phenomenal, and the restaurant felt relaxed with excellent food. Our room was a little slice of paradise, with a private pool, modern decor, a great power shower and a comfy bed. I even had a moment where I thought about selling my house and moving in. The staff were friendly, welcoming, attentive and accommodating, and everyone we met had a smile. It's been 3 weeks since my wife and I got back from The Atrium, and I still can't find words that do it justice. One of the best hotels I've visited. I'd recommend it without hesitation and return in a heartbeat.

The breakfast was very good, with frequent refills of coffee and tea. I also liked having a separate food area away from the pool, which kept it clean and gave us a break from the sun. Our room was immaculately cleaned every morning, and the beach was an easy, quick walk away. There are lovely tavernas nearby and a bus stop close by for getting around. We just got back from the Atrium hotel and had a lovely experience. The service was amazing, laid back in a good way, chatty and friendly. I don't usually leave reviews, but this felt worth sharing. It's one of the best hotels we've visited. I'd ignore the negative reviews, and when we return to skiathos, we wouldn't stay anywhere else.

We had a very relaxing time here. The staff were great and everyone was very nice. The hotel has plenty of room and spaces to spend time, including an area for kids, though don't expect too much from that. We had a perfect room with a beautiful view, a lovely new and clean bathroom, and a pool. There was also a smaller pool, perhaps just for decoration, but we used it for our 1 year kid. A salvamar was by the pool keeping things safe. I didn't really enjoy the food, as it wasn't what I expected. I love authentic Greek food, but unfortunately the restaurant couldn't offer that. The beach isn't far, but getting there isn't easy: there's no proper path, so you walk along a road without enough space, then take a small forest path to reach it.

One thing to bear in mind is the hillside layout. The hotel cascades down a slope facing the sea, and even with working elevators, you can't avoid some uphill walking. It may not suit travelers who have trouble walking or climbing stairs. The effort is rewarded with a lovely view of Agia Paraskevi beach, which is nearby. My family and I spent a wonderful week on Skiathos in August, and Atrium Hotel added a lot to our good impression of the island. The overall feel of the hotel was very good, with its center on the sixth floor, where there's a well-kept pool, restaurant and bar. The rooms I saw were cozy and spacious enough, each with a balcony and a beautiful sea view. The bathrooms were large, with excellent showers and pleasantly scented soap. Breakfast was plentiful and tasty enough, though I would replace the coffee machine since none of its options made good coffee. We didn't eat at the hotel otherwise, because the area has an above-average number of excellent restaurants, even by Greek standards. The WiFi should be stronger, as it struggled when we tried streaming movies. I also found it inadequate when rooms weren't cleaned before 3 p.m. After a morning in the sun, guests want to rest in their rooms in the afternoon rather than wait for housekeeping.
