We booked independently through Booking.com, which was far cheaper than any package deal. It's a lovely boutique hotel, and though we chose a lower-level room to save money, it was right at the front facing the sea. The pool was lovely too. Apparently the actors stayed at the hotel next door while filming Mamma Mia. This hotel also puts on an excellent Greek dancing night on Mondays, and it's free.

The front desk lady deserves an Oscar for acting as if she couldn't remember what she'd said. She confirmed three nights for us, then backed out as if we'd imagined the whole conversation. Terrible service, unless you enjoy being gaslit at check-in.

We had a great two weeks and wouldn't hesitate to come back. It's a little gem of an apartment hotel. The rooms are basic, as you'd expect in Greece, but very clean, and the pool was kept clean too. The pool area could use a bit of TLC, and the gardens are beautiful. Sheets and towels were changed daily, and all the staff were friendly and helpful. A great place.

The location worked well for evenings out, around a 15-20 minute walk from Skopelos town and close to restaurants and shops. We stayed a week. The place was very clean, though dated, and the staff were friendly and keen to help. The pool was small but clean, with a few loungers. I wish there had been food or a bar; with those, I'd have given it five stars.
