Lafkos is a lovely village, and the guest house is in a very good spot. I can see why the property gets good reviews. The newer rooms, built in the past few years, have large balconies, but they're right beside a traditional privately owned village house. From the balconies there's no privacy from the neighbours, whose terrace is only about a metre away. You can see their outdoor kitchen, toilet and shower. The neighbours' terrace is beautiful, and the sea view is nice, but the side view should be screened. Please add side screens so both your guests and your neighbour can have some privacy and respect.

Lafkos turned out to be the setting for one of our most beautiful holidays, even though I worried at first about being a 15-minute drive from the beach. I usually want to stay right by the water, close enough to dip my toes in from my room. But this little hillside village in the Pelion peninsula charmed us. Pelion is unusual in having both a summer and winter season, with places like Lafkos higher up. Villa Aspasia sits in the center of the beautiful village. The rooms were spotless and had everything we needed, and breakfast was included, varied and excellent, better than at many hotels. Aspasia, the hostess the accommodation is named after, is kind and wonderful, and always there for you, 24/7. One day, we grilled fish together in the yard with her and her husband, drank homemade wine and ate olives. We’ll always remember the holiday and these amazing hosts. My heartfelt recommendation!

Aspasia makes a fresh, great breakfast every day. The place is friendly, clean and comfortable, just a few steps from central lafkos square.
