Pension Condillia II

The view is lovely, and we were only a five-minute walk from the center and beaches. We had breakfast on the balcony every morning. Our host welcomed us warmly with a bowl of fresh fruit, and she was extremely nice and spoke several languages. Service was excellent, including the option to choose whether we wanted the room cleaned. Our towels were replaced for free. Definitely recommend!

Bring a torch for the road home at night, since it can be dark. The house itself is in a very quiet area, so sleeping was peaceful. It's about a slow 20-minute stroll to the port, with two local restaurants, a bar, and a mini market nearby. The local beaches are pebbly, but the water is good for swimming. Mrs Katerina was a superb host and made everything easy for all of us. She speaks excellent English and was happy to help with anything. The rooms are nice, clean, and freshly decorated, with good-sized balconies. Rooms 12, 13, and 14 have sea views. There's plenty of hot water thanks to solar power, plus a good-sized fridge, electric kettle, flat-screen television, and a camping gas stove with a little pot for Greek coffee. And the beds were amazing. I usually have trouble sleeping on holiday, but this year I slept twice my usual amount and feel recharged!

A great place to stay in Spetses, whether travelling alone or as a couple. The rooms are spacious, clean, and well equipped, with balconies facing the sea. Service is fabulous around the clock, and the price is very good. Highly recommended.

We'd planned to stay somewhere else, but somehow arrived a day early. The woman had two rooms available and gave us a ride on a motorbike from where we were. She was very hospitable and brought us watermelon and juice. The rooms were spacious, and the free Wi-Fi was nice. The main downsides were the distance from the city's main area and the view, which wasn't great.
