We loved the food, especially the Greek dishes at the restaurant, where we ate twice. Breakfast was delicious every morning too. The rooms matched their description and, like the rest of the hotel, were spotless. George and his staff made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. After our long trip, they took our rental car to the parking lot while we were arriving in the dark, which was a real help. Everyone was kind and attentive. Our two children were the only kids staying at the time, and we think they even received a bit of extra attention. It felt like the staff went out of their way to make us comfortable. We’d highly recommend the hotel to anyone visiting Crete.

Alai, A Tribute Portfolio Resort is beautiful, right on the beach, with stunning views and a wonderful atmosphere. We had a lovely stay in Crete and would gladly come back. Highly recommended!

We had an amazing stay for my birthday. George, the operations manager, and the restaurant staff were incredibly welcoming and did everything they could to make us comfortable. The hotel is beautiful, right by the beach, with spacious rooms, great food, and all the key amenities. If you’re looking for somewhere to stay in Crete, I’d say this is a perfect choice. I’d recommend adding a spa.

We liked Alai Tribute Portfolio so much that we stayed there twice in October, first at the start of our trip and then again at the end. The service is excellent, the people are very kind, and breakfast is delicious. Even late in the season, there were still plenty of staff working, which showed how much the hotel cares about keeping service consistently good. For my birthday, my room was beautifully decorated and I got a complimentary upgrade, which was a lovely surprise. Giorgio is the sweetest and will help with absolutely anything. We’ll definitely come back!

The staff work hard to make sure guests have a great stay, and George, the director of operations, is always ready with a hand or advice on local sights. The resort itself is beautiful, with two pools, oceanfront loungers and umbrellas. Both restaurants are fantastic, and there’s a poolside bar too.
