I stayed five days and found the self-contained apartment comfortable and pleasant, with an endless view across the Cretan sea. Mrs Eleftheria was an amazing, helpful host. The place was kept very clean, with attention every day. I highly recommend it.

You’re welcomed whenever you arrive, and the place has a mostly peaceful, old Creatan atmosphere that feels like stepping back in time. Just don’t expect five-star all-inclusive standards. There are stairs to walk up, so bear that in mind if stairs are difficult for you.

The sea view is great, and the place is very affordable. Some apartments are small, but they do the job. The dogs are adorable and the people are really nice. Just be aware there are A LOT of stairs, so if you're disabled, you might want to find somewhere else.

The rooms are comfortable and lovely, and the people are great. Scooby, Leila and Lucy are lovely dogs too. Since the place is on a hillside, every room involves steps. Take them slowly and it's fine. Looking forward to coming back.

It's close to the beach, and otherwise it's a good old-fashioned apartment, with a 1950s feel and furniture. But there are lots of stairs and no lift or ramp, so it's not suitable for people with disabilities. If you're allergic to dogs, you won't be happy here.
