The pool was clean and quiet, and we had a fantastic stay. Elainee gave us a really warm welcome and was helpful throughout our visit. The rest of the staff were friendly and helpful too. Our apartment was lovely, modern and very clean. The kitchen could have been better equipped, and it would have been nice to have something provided for washing up. There’s a well-stocked shop next door, run by lovely people. We’d definitely stay again.

I loved Stalis and the hotel, but getting to the strip means using an underpass with a steep hill down to the beach. The climb back up was impossible for me because of my health issues. Next time I’d choose a hotel on the beach road instead.

The location was great, just a few minutes from town, and the supermarket right outside was fantastic. Our room was clean but very basic. We had problems with the toilet, patio door lock and ants, and those were only partly sorted. Reception staff were pleasant, but the guy at the pool bar spoiled the stay for us. Possibly the rudest guy in Crete! With so many places to stay in the resort, we wouldn’t return.

The staff really stood out, they went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. The pool bar had great daytime snacks, and breakfast was very good too. We stayed in a superior one-bedroom apartment at Rainbow Apartments in Stalis. It was spacious, spotless and comfortable, with air conditioning that worked well. The pool area was peaceful and lovely for unwinding. The beach is only a couple of minutes away through an underpass. We enjoyed it so much that we’ve already booked again for next year. Highly recommended!

A lovely place to visit, with a beautiful, immaculately kept accommodation and a lovely pool. There’s a great pool bar for breakfast or lunch, plus a friendly bar in the evening.
