We’d decided to stay in Crete for three more days and found this apartment in Stalis. We were the first guests after the renovation, and it really is brand new and beautifully designed. The photos are completely accurate. There’s a sea view from the apartment on the main road, and a supermarket downstairs where you get 10% off groceries. You can have breakfast looking out over the sea, then come down to find everything close at hand. The bedroom has air conditioning and a ceiling fan. The staff were wonderful: Nikoleta was very kind, Nikos from the supermarket carried our bags and brought us a welcome gift of fruit and water, and Elenia, the cleaner, was always smiling and happy to suggest local restaurants. We can’t wait to come back!

With sea views and the beach close by, it’s a lovely place to stay. Shops, restaurants, and pubs are all nearby too. The owners and staff were incredibly kind, and the apartment was very clean, modern, and had everything we needed. We had everything we needed to be happy, and it’s the kind of place that makes you want to return.
