We spent a month here while working remotely, and would stay again for sure. The rooms and building are kept clean, and Yiannis and Maria are friendly and welcoming, always happy to help. The location works well too, about a 10 minute walk to Stalida village or the beach, and a 10 minute bus ride to Herso or Malia.

We visited in June 2024 and really enjoyed it. The views were great and the swimming pool was nice. Steffi is a super friendly host with a great sense of humor, always ready to help. She even made us a good breakfast and ordered us cappuccino. I recommend the place and we'll certainly visit again. :)

The grandchildren were very happy spending time in the pool, and I especially enjoyed the loungers under the mulberry trees, where there was shade. We had a good family holiday in August 2023. The bedroom and kitchenette were basic, but dry, clean, and fit for purpose. The air con cost extra, though it was well worth paying for. One drawback was having to climb 70 steps each time. The town centre was a moderate distance away, but the uphill walk was off-putting, especially with overgrown shrubs pushing us onto the road, where fast traffic was a danger.

The breakfast was superb, the room was great, and the bed very comfortable. It's close to the sea, yet quiet and peaceful. The host listens and is happy to help with anything. I'll definitely return!

We had a fantastic time at Mary Sofi. There were nine of us, including five children, and the accommodation was lovely and clean. Stephanie and her Mother were so friendly and helpful, and nothing was too much trouble. Stephanie cooked lovely food as well. It's a great spot, about 10 minutes from the beach and centre. We'll definitely be back.
