Garden Studios

It’s close to the beach, a short walk to a supermarket, and near enough to town that we never needed the bus. The place was affordable and okay to stay in, but not as advertised. We might return if they renovate that bathroom. We had a double room in the main building with a tiny kitchen. There was one closet, two joined beds, one bedside table, a small chair for the other side, and a little makeup table and chair. The beds were reasonably comfortable and the sheets clean, but the synthetic pillows had a rubbery feel that I really hate. The kitchen had just the basics: a small sink, electric kettle, stovetop, and little fridge. Utensils were sparse too, just a medium and small pot, two glasses, two coffee cups, small and medium plates, cutlery for two, and a plastic tray. There was no cutting board, and the previous guests had used the tray as one, which should have been a sign to the owners to get a cutting board. There were no bowls or deeper plates for cereal or soup, no trash can, and no spices, not even salt or pepper. We had to buy a dishwasher sponge and soap ourselves. The bathroom was the worst part. It was so small I could barely sit on the toilet, and the shower curtain was too short, so water went everywhere each time. Ventilation was poor, and it took days for the steam and smell to clear. Towels left in there got damp and smelly. We did get clean towels changed every three days, along with the towels and a floor mopping. The room had air conditioning but no remote control, and a safe without a key. I assume these extras were available only on request, but nobody told us.

The apartments were clean and ideal for families, and the hosts were very kind. The location is perfect. Book and enjoy!

The staff were very friendly and the rooms always clean. The beach is very close, and the supermarket and town centre are fairly nearby too.

Garden Studios is a small hotel with sea views and clean, pleasant rooms. The service is good too. 👌☀️🤗
