A little oasis around the pool and bar. Ksenia and her team were professional, kind, and helpful. A special thank you to Ksenia for arranging just the right accommodation for four best friends celebrating our 60th birthdays. Lovely place.

The two-bedroom apartment was short on wardrobe hanging space and drawers for four people, and the pool could use more loungers and parasols. It would also help to have a few notes explaining breakfast, towel changes, not flushing toilet paper, and how to get free pool towels. More staff at breakfast and during the day would be useful too. Otherwise, it’s a comfortable, very quiet adults-only hotel run by a family, right in the heart of the Tigaki strip. The rooms are clean and very nice, with excellent air conditioning, lovely bathrooms, and pleasant balcony seating.

The hotel is a five-minute walk from the beach, with a supermarket offering a wide selection right beside it. The pool area is beautifully landscaped, though a bit cramped, and on some days it was hard to find a free sunbed. Staff were friendly throughout, even when I kept raising the warm-water problem. The room was a decent size and insulated well against noise. I didn’t care for the beds, but that’s personal preference. For a hotel charging over 200 a night, the experience was poor. There were frequent blackouts, and on six of my eight mornings there was no warm water. The fridge and air conditioning were noisy. Some breakfast items seemed almost certainly to have been warmed from frozen, though there was a good range of fresh fruit, nuts, and yogurts. I can’t recommend it and won’t return.

The pool and its surroundings were beautiful, and the bathroom itself was lovely and mould-free. The Greek staff at the bar and in the kitchen were incredibly helpful, especially Valentina. You showed the warmth and friendliness that remind me why I love visiting my family’s motherland. The front desk let this beautiful hotel down. I’m used to Greek hospitality and warmth, and didn’t find it here. The room could have been perfect, but maintenance was lacking: the sheer curtains had come off their hooks, the mini-fridge seal was damaged and leaked, the flat sheets were too small, and the sliding wardrobe needed oil. The bathroom hardware looked cheap, and the scratched knobs needed replacing or repainting. Please see photos. The cleaning was poor. A damp mop smelling of bleach seemed to push hairs around the room, leaving hair in every bathroom corner. Toothpaste marks stayed on the mirror all week. The cleaning bucket sat in the hallway all day, and I saw the friendly cleaners smoking in the broom closet. I don’t mind them taking a break, but I don’t like walking through smoke to get to my room. When I asked about clean towels, the cleaners had taken the used ones without replacing them. The front desk staff argued in Greek that the three-day rule meant they couldn’t give us new ones. Why take the old towels, then? It was strange to be lectured about the rule, especially as I’m eco-friendly, and there wasn’t even an apology. A receptionist smiling doesn’t necessarily mean she’s friendly or kind. They provided Olive Care products, a brand I like from Greek hotels, but only shampoo and body milk at first. I asked for shower gel and they supplied it. Fresh toast, pastries, and fruit were the only breakfast items I’d recommend. The rest was standard continental fare, the scrambled eggs were disgusting, and there were no fresh juices. Lipton tea in several varieties and oat milk were available.

We’ve been here ten nights, and now I’m sitting at breakfast waiting for our transfer home. The hotel was what we expected, the rooms are great, and the staff were very helpful. There’s no toaster in the mornings, which was our only real complaint. The food can be a little bland, but there’s always something tasty to find. Everything we wanted in town was within a five-minute walk. I’d definitely stay again. This is my first review, so it must have been good.
