Anthea Hotel Tinos

A strong gust blew my prescription glasses from my hand, and they were almost impossible to spot. Mr. Panagiotis searched patiently and found them, saving me a lot of trouble replacing them. I'm very grateful to him. That kindness came on top of an already wonderful stay for my wife and me from July 10-16, 2016, at Anthia, Tinos. We'd stayed before and knew the service and people were wonderful. The location is lovely, breakfast and service were exemplary, and the place was clean and tidy. The staff went out of their way to help, especially Mr. Panagiotis and Ms. Eugenia. Even without the glasses incident, this would have been our best experience at an Aegean island hotel in fifteen years. Highly recommended.

The food was amazing, with local ingredients in season. I even found string beans (Greek string beans) here. Service from management and all the staff was wonderful, and the waiters and pool staff were fantastic and so attentive.

Anthea is a blissful place to stay in Tinos, with fresh boho styling, great home cooking, and courteous staff.

The restaurant and its service team were the highlight for us. Breakfast and dinner were incredible, and while lunch has a shorter menu, you can always head out for something else. Bring a big appetite, the portions are huge and the food is delicious. Our room was roomy, with a huge terrace and a comfortable bed. The quiet wall AC cooled it quickly even during the heat wave. The hotel was friendly and welcoming, and had a shuttle to the port.
