I rented one of the beach beds for the day, which costs €10, and used the bar too. The staff were friendly, the drinks were cheap, and you can get food next door.

The setting is beautiful, with steep hills around the hotel and a picturesque island across the water. The sea is clear, shallow, and clean enough that you can see the bottom almost everywhere. There's very little litter on the beach, and what does appear is cleaned up quickly. Kudos to Greeks and tourists in Tolo for keeping it that way. The beach is right outside, about 4 meter wide, and the hotel provides free sunbeds in okay condition. The reservation setup is odd: once the beach has been raked, you can claim beds with your towels. Getting up around five is early enough to find two, sometimes under an umbrella, but people reserve several and leave them empty for much of the day. With rarely more than half in use, a system that encouraged sharing would work better. Rooms are spacious and clean, with a great sea view, and AC in every room. The food is good, home-style Greek cooking served hot as a buffet, so you can eat quickly and get back to the sea or beach. Staff were kind and helpful, and the whole hotel is accessible to disabled people. The bar opens from 11am to 10pm, with lots of drinks, especially good fredo capuccino and fresh orange juice. There's a supermarket next door, handy if needed, though it's overpriced and the staff aren't pleasant, so use another one if you have time. Once a week there's a traditional Greek night with live music and dancing. It feels like a real family gathering, is fun, and is friendly for children, rather than an artificial tourist attraction. You can also rent a boat and go around the larger Romvi island to find a secluded spot for swimming and snorkeling. The hotel is great, and I'd recommend it. It really is just great.

The location is fantastic, and the rooms are decent, but broken things weren't fixed and the place needs maintenance. Housekeeping wasn't very good either. One day, the sheets were taken away and no fresh ones were left. The food was easily the worst part. I'd tell people to visit Tolo, but to stay at a different hotel.

A lovely family-run hotel right on the beach. The accommodation was clean and excellent, and they hold fun cultural Greek nights every Friday.
