What a view, and the climb up is worth it. The owner and cleaning staff were really friendly and helpful. The place was nice and clean, with bedding and towels changed every other day. You can buy water there for just a little more than at the shop, which saves carrying it up. The pool is clean and not too deep. The beach is about a five-minute walk away, very clean, and has a lovely atmosphere. I was so pleased with the holiday. Ten days just wasn’t enough x

Kostas, the hotel Manager, was welcoming and chatty, always happy to answer questions or share tips about the area. We arrived quite late, so the eight-pack of water he offered, though a bit more expensive than the local supermarket, saved us a trip down the hill and back up with it. The apartment was basic but very clean and a really good deal. The location worked perfectly for me and my boyfriend. Troulos beach, with its sand and crystal-clear water, is only five minutes away. There’s a supermarket on the way, though coffee there is quite expensive, so you may want to bring your own. The bus stop is less than five minutes away too. The apartments are at the top of a hill, which might not suit someone with mobility issues. There’s a stair lift, but I’m not sure it definitely works. We found nice restaurants nearby and went to the one opposite the apartments. Our favourite was the beach restaurant, 'Taverna Paralia', where they make amazing Pina Coladas. The staff there worked really hard and were friendly. The pool at the apartments was quiet and had a lovely view over the hills. I’d definitely stay here again! :)

Troulos beach is wonderful. We hired three beds for €10 and dragged them under the pine trees. There are toilets at the hotel on the beach, and plenty of food and drinks to choose from. Back at the apartment, everything was spotless, both inside and in the surrounding gardens. I was glad they delivered water to our room, as I wouldn’t have wanted to carry it up the steep drive. Kostas was pleasant and polite, as were the others working there. Loved it.

We couldn’t fault the apartment: it was very clean and tidy, with a large balcony, a big front bedroom, a separate double bedroom, a small kitchen with all the essentials, and a wet room. The steep walk up is rewarded by stunning views across the Troulos valley. When we arrived, Kostas, the on-site manager, was friendly and offered to carry our luggage. Bottled water was available for a small charge, well worth it given the hill. There’s a small private pool with the same great valley view. We were there in September, when it was quiet, so it made a peaceful retreat. We highly recommend Villa Elpiniki!
