Kimiro Hotel Tsilivi

We’ve ended up extending our time in Zante because we’re having such a good time at Kimiro. Room 31 has a great terrace, and the whole place is peaceful and spotless. It’s tucked away from the main town, which is still only about a 10-minute walk. It’s adults only, and the people running this little boutique hotel are lovely. The laid-back music, sunshine and Eric’s helpfulness make every day better. Even the pool-cleaning robot puts in a shift, and Valentin works incredibly hard cleaning and helping out. The wooden sunbeds are probably the comfiest I’ve ever lain on. My only complaint is that we have to leave. We’ve loved our stay from the bottom of our hearts. Thanks to everyone for making it so memorable.

The pool area is lovely and the hotel has a great atmosphere, but the room cleaning let it down, especially in the bathroom. Towels were changed every day, yet the bathroom was still left dirty. There seemed to be more effort put into folding towels into shapes than properly cleaning the rooms. I’d give the hotel 4 out of 5; with better housekeeping, it could easily be a 5. The owner might want to look at changing the cleaning company.

We could walk to everything we needed, and the staff were polite and attentive. Parking right outside was handy and our room was clean, but its layout had some problems. The toilet and shower weren’t practical, and there was no separate bathroom or privacy in the room. Since it faced the pool, we couldn’t open the curtains to get some air. There was also only a tiny spot to hang wet clothes.

There was plenty of good food, and we never struggled to find a sunbed. We also appreciated the no-children policy, so there was no screaming. The staff were friendly, the place was kept clean, and our bathroom and pool towels were changed daily. The rooms aren’t huge, but they’re big enough for a comfortable stay. It’s a quiet spot with the beach nearby and lots of bars and restaurants within walking distance.
