We had an amazing holiday week, and the experience exceeded our expectations. The stylish, functional interior was newly furnished to a high standard, and the villa was clean, beautiful, and well equipped. There's a spacious garden, a continuous pool area, seafront garden, private beach bar, and direct beach access. The beach was quiet in the mornings and evenings, and while families were there in the day, it never felt crowded. The sea was calm, too. A discreet, friendly janitor and housekeeper couple looked after the villa and grounds, and Premium Vacation Homes answered our questions quickly and professionally and were flexible with check-in and check-out. Everyone was super friendly.

We'd highly recommend Villa Bala. The grounds slope down to the beach, and you can enjoy wonderful views from several terraces. Shops and a few good Tavernas are an easy walk away. The beach is narrow and stony in places, so swim shoes are a good idea; the clear water is lovely for snorkeling, paddle boarding, swimming, or a paddle. It was quiet in the morning and evening, with just families around during the day. There was plenty of space for all 10 of us. The house has two huge lounges, nicely arranged bedrooms, lots of fridge and freezer room, and good air conditioning. We especially liked the Villa Bala ‘tiki bar’, with its sink, fridge/freezer, and loo. The pool room was amazing, too, with a toilet, shower, fridge, and lots of room. The terrace beside it became our go-to place for morning coffee and evening drinks. Nichos and Vana were lovely, discreet, and happy to help with the grounds and housekeeping. Denia was brilliant with concierge arrangements: she met us, showed us around, arranged airport transfers, shopped for us and put everything in the fridges, and sorted takeaway pizza for our first night, collected by Nichos. She also arranged a fabulous birthday cake and balloons for our 7 year old granddaughter, helped us get an appointment when one child had an ear infection, and shared lots of ideas and recommendations. Adam handled most of our taxis and was helpful and polite. On 5 nights, Thanos and Alex came to cook. Thanos is a wonderful chef, and Alex was a brilliant, funny host. The food was incredible, and they cleaned up afterwards. We also had a great trip to The Seacret Beach Bar (spelling correct), where the beach and loungers were nice, the cocktails and lunch were wonderful, and the staff were lovely. The house was well equipped and made it easy for us to enjoy the space.
