Mika and Takis made us feel so welcome and shared useful tips for enjoying the house and the island. We spent a dream week in Serifos at Dream Houses, thank you Mika and Takis. The apartment is just a few meters from Serifos's most beautiful beach. It's designed with great taste and real attention to how things work, right down to the details, and has all the comforts and equipment we needed for a thoroughly relaxing holiday.

The owner is friendly and supportive, and the houses are comfortable, well equipped, and have a fantastic terrace view. Ganema beach, about a ten-minute walk away, is definitely the best on the island, though there are no beach bars or umbrellas. Trees by the shore offer some shade. The little tavern beside the beach is open only during high season. Highly recommended!

We spent hours stretched out on the stunning balcony, just enjoying the view. The house was spotless, and every detail felt carefully considered. We could walk to the beach for a swim, then come back and relax on the comfortable chaises longues and outdoor sofas. Beautiful house, wonderful setting, lovely hosts. Definitely recommended.

This is a lovely little house close to a beautiful beach. The water is very clear. Snorkelling isn't great, but it's a safe spot for teaching kids. During the week we ate at the robust taverna on the beach and the traditional tavern on the hill, a 700 m walk. Both served very good food without being fancy, and we liked them a lot. We also cooked for ourselves and ate on the cottage's fantastic terrace. The beach is about a five-minute walk in bathing gear. Take a shady spot under the trees because it gets really hot. We'd recommend a taxi over a hired car: the road is narrow, and we're not used to mountain roads. At least that's a good idea if you want to have a beer or two at the harbour. Have a great stay! This house is an amazing getaway if you're after a great beach and local surroundings. If you want city life and evenings out partying, it probably isn't the place for you. The photos show the house well. Since it's a 10-15 minute drive from the port, having a car is almost essential. There are taxis on the island, so getting to the house and into town for groceries by taxi may be manageable, though it could get trickier even if it's possible. The hosts were friendly and caring throughout. They communicated really well before we arrived, met us at the port, and made sure we got to the house. They welcomed us properly and looked after us on arrival, during the stay, and when we left.
