Divani Apollon Palace & Thalasso

The reception staff were consistently polite and professional, and the hotel has an excellent location, immaculate rooms and shared areas, and ongoing upgrades. Breakfast service, though, seriously let down an otherwise very good stay. The waitstaff need proper training. Plates and cutlery were taken away without care and thrown onto carts and piles, making a lot of needless noise. It felt like eating in a military kitchen rather than at a hotel aiming for high standards. A waitress named Anastasia was especially unacceptable in her manner. She didn’t even say good morning, showed clear irritation, and reprimanded guests about how they were sitting. That isn’t her role. If she dislikes the job, she should leave it or choose another profession. Her supervisors need to address this and make sure she understands basic courtesy, professionalism, and respect for paying guests. Hospitality is central to the work. It’s deeply disappointing that such poor breakfast service undermines the rest of the hotel experience.

The reception team made us feel right at home. They were professional, wholeheartedly dedicated, and attentive to every detail. Thanks to them, we’re already planning another visit! The hotel is well located near top tier restaurants and great views. The gym is well maintained, and the hotel bar is worth a visit.

The room was very clean and well maintained, with a coffee machine provided. The staff were welcoming and really nice. It was a relaxing stay, with the sound of waves and birds around us, and there’s a great seafood restaurant nearby. The price felt well earned. Great experience.

Our stay was short, but we had a lovely time. The room was nice, breakfast was great, and the staff were kind. Special thanks to Antonis for his professionalism. He was kind and patient, and someone we could rely on for help.
