Such a painful experience in Zakynthos. We were four women and arrived at the B&B on our first day. I followed the instructions in the message to open the entrance door, but couldn’t get the room key. I called and messaged the landlord and got no reply. Later, in the middle of the night, there was no hot water for a shower. I called, texted, and emailed again, but still couldn’t reach anyone to help. The room facilities weren’t usable. The capsule coffee machine had no capsules, the washing machine had no detergent, and the tea box was empty. The water was salty and not drinkable, and no basic drinking water had been provided. The AC didn’t work, the toilet drain was blocked, and it smelled awful. Don’t be fooled by the photos. I would never stay at this B&B again.

The place is cute and modern, and big enough for two people visiting the island, but the bathroom was a bit worn and dirty. The towels were worn too, and I wasn’t sure if beige was the new white. The outside stairs smelled musty and were really dirty. It’s centrally located, but noisy because of poor insulation, and we left early because of the noise. The key box didn’t work, we didn’t know which floor we were on, and the woman on the helpline was unfriendly. The booking.com pictures show a dining table and a huge terrace, but there’s more than one suite in the building and we didn’t get the largest one, maybe the one on the third floor. We had two small balconies.

I really liked this accommodation. It had everything I needed for a vacation: a kitchenette, washing machine, dishwasher, and bathroom. Nice place.

We booked three nights, but had problems from the start. The power kept cutting out on the first day. On the second, we came back from the beach and there was no water from the kitchen or bathroom taps, or the shower, so we couldn’t bathe. They moved us to another accommodation about 20 minutes away by car, but offered no ride. We had to pack our suitcases and sort out our own transport. We tried contacting the person in charge, who didn’t answer until the last minute. The toilet drainage was faulty and smelled all the time, and the AC on the third floor didn’t work. Never stay there.
