Hotel Alma Maya

This is where I'll stay whenever I come to Antigua. The workers are the kindest and always super helpful, and I found the rooms cozy and the atmosphere fun. It's clean, budget friendly, and centrally located. There are rooms with shared bathrooms and ones with private bathrooms. A great option if you're travelling solo and want somewhere safe and quiet to sleep.

The egg soap was outstanding. My girlfriend and I shared that, and we also ordered the two steak dishes, both of which were delicious. It's family run, and the service was delightful. We thoroughly enjoyed the food and the service. A huge thank you from both of us!

We were very happy with dinner here. The food was lovely, everything we ordered was great, and they explained the local dishes to us. It had a homely feel and the prices were very reasonable.

The location is great, close to the center, with a grocery store just across the street. They serve a local typical breakfast, and there is security at night. Ask the friendly staff for help with anything, including excursions or buses to other cities. Internet was okay, though it didn't always work in the room because of the thick walls. My room had a small window and wasn't very bright, but who spends much time in their room in Antigua? Excellent value for money, and it feels like home.
