The common areas were great, and the service was good. It’s a cute boutique style hotel in a very central spot. My room wasn’t quite as comfortable as I’d have liked, but they cook an amazing breakfast.

It’s a nice place in a really good location, but there’s almost no service. They had no hairdryer, even when I asked, and breakfast doesn’t start until 8:30 a.m. It could start at 7:30 instead. Nobody spoke English. It’s really just somewhere to sleep.

The garden is so peaceful and lovely, make sure you see it. The staff were caring and attentive to even the smallest details while I was visiting Antigua. The location is very central, right in front of a monument and the Tanque de la Unión park, and close to many landmarks and restaurants.

My bed was comfortable, and Edgar?, the staff gentleman, was always cheerful and helpful. But I wouldn’t recommend staying here. The room I was shown wasn’t the one I got, and I had to ask for toilet paper at check-in, with none available until the next day. I also had to request coat hangers. I got hot showers only two of my four nights, and the WiFi was unreliable. The sink design made a mess when used. You have to ask for an actual breakfast or they’ll just give you a couple of little pancakes. The night before I needed to leave early, they held a big, loud party in the hotel room area, then the cleanup was noisy. Nobody apologized. Maybe there’s new management, or maybe the earlier reviews are dubious. I came to understand why they still had availability during Semana Santa.
