I really liked the location, and the hotel felt secure, though the doors are locked fairly early. We got back from cayala around midnight and had to wait for someone to let us in. If you need to park after the lot closes or arrive early, there's a doorbell-like clicker outside. The hotel arranges parking at a nearby lot that's watched 24 hours a day. I think it's a family's property where they rent spaces and live there. They were nice, and I felt as safe as I could leaving the car. The building is old and dated, with small, clean rooms that felt a bit pricey for what you get. Everyone was helpful, and the old elevator was cool.

The staff were very friendly, which was a plus. But the beds felt like boards and the pillows were flat. There was no hand soap in the bathroom, and the towels were dingy and looked well past their prime. No bathroom outlet for a hairdryer or straightener either, so I had to use them in the main room. A big inconvenience.

The location was pretty good and the service was nice. The bathrooms felt far too cramped, and the building's elevator is so old it has to be operated manually. It was just alright, and I probably wouldn't stay here again if I had the choice.

The staff were cordial and efficient, and the restaurant food was average. The rooms felt small and claustrophobic, though they weren't too noisy despite facing the street. The bed was worn but average.

Good location and a nice hotel, but avoid it if there's an event like the wedding party they hosted on Saturday night when I stayed. The disco noise carried through the entire building, so forget getting sleep. There are better options for the price, I'd stay elsewhere.
