The breakfast was good, and we found the rooms comfortable. The airport shuttle is useful, but allow 10-15 minutes after checkout before you need to leave: they check the room before driving you, so the car may not be ready for several minutes. Being close to the airport is handy for a late arrival or early flight. For sightseeing, though, most places in Guatemala City are on the far side of the airport, and with the traffic, staying here added a few minutes to every drive.

The room was clean, had AC, and came with a good range of TV and streaming options. The front desk arranged an early shuttle to the airport and packed coffee and breakfast for me to take along. A great choice when you need to stay near the airport for an early flight from Guatemala City.

The room had no outside window, felt very humid, and there was a cockroach. On the plus side, it was modern, had AC, and the hotel is near the airport with a shuttle included. The shuttle arrangements left me uneasy about privacy. We were asked to send a picture of ourselves on WhatsApp, when I’d expect to receive the car details instead. The driver didn’t seem to use the picture to identify us anyway, since we were waiting at the agreed spot in recognizable clothes and still couldn’t be found. Communication was steady, but we waited 20 minutes on arrival and our departure was 10 minutes late. On checkout day my credit card had to be blocked after fraudulent Uber rides worth several hundred dollars. The week before, I’d only used it at the hotel and an NGO, and I had my phone and a VPN. It may have been an unfortunate coincidence, but together with the photo request, it concerned me. I’d suggest asking for the driver’s car details instead of sending a picture of yourself.

A lovely inn with modern rooms, comfortable beds, and a real sense of security. Breakfast was fantastic, and it’s close to the airport. We took the shuttle because it was dark and we had children with us, though walking would have been quicker. I did run into problems with Booking.com and couldn’t complete my reservation.
