The staff’s kindness made a big difference. I arrived exhausted after two nights without sleep, and they let us check in early. There was construction during my stay, with noisy work in the afternoon, but the staff even asked the workers to switch to quieter tasks so I could rest. I really appreciated it. The room was comfortable and had good AC, and the shower was amazing, with strong pressure and easy temperature adjustment. Those things are why this gets five stars from me. There are several restaurants nearby, and the rooftop bar is a fun way to end the night.

The area feels modern and safe, with lots of places to eat and shop, and Oakland Mall is just minutes away. The room was in very good shape and fairly clean, with excellent water pressure in the shower. It’s only about 15 ft from the front desk, so there isn’t much privacy, and you have to walk past the desk each time you go to your room.

They charged us an extra €30 “to speed up the cleaning,” even though the room was already available, and the stay was definitely not worth the price. The room itself was unacceptable: mold on the walls and around the windows, with air so heavy and smelly it was almost unbreathable. We had to leave the windows open, but they were on the ground floor and opened right onto yard work, so there was constant noise and no privacy. Cleanliness clearly wasn’t a priority. There was dirt, spiders, cobwebs, other insects, and mosquitoes smashed on the walls with dried blood still visible.

We had a nice two-night stay while exploring Guatemala City. The room was clean, parking was free, and the staff were nice. We’d recommend it.

The staff were unfriendly and wouldn’t help with basic questions. Even when I used Google Translate, they refused to help with anything. No bien. I don’t recommend it.
