Hotel Casa Ramos

The price felt far too high.

The room was small.

The place felt deserted, and the walk toward Santander Street seemed especially unappealing at night. I’d stay somewhere around the surrounding area instead. My room was quoted at Q450.00, but the bill came to Q300.00 after it was checked, since the woman had inflated the price. Be careful. At that cost, the room just wasn’t worth it, and there are more comfortable hotels nearby.

From Room No. 7, you can see the lake and volcanoes, though a jumble of electrical wires cuts across the view. We bargained the nightly rate down from 280 Q to 260 Q, but it still felt too expensive for what it was. Suenos Real next door had nice decor and cost 200 Q.
