Jabel Tinamit Hotel & Villas

The garden is beautiful, with hummingbirds visiting now and then, and the big double room was very clean. Staff were friendly and helpful, breakfast with coffee was included, and I felt very safe even walking around at night. It’s centrally located at the top of Calle Santander, with lots of cafés, restaurants, and souvenir stalls and shops nearby. The big supermarket is a 10 minute walk. The lake and its viewing platform are the most beautiful, just 15-20 minutes away on foot. On Saturday there was music from a nearby place, but earplugs dealt with it easily. Otherwise, it was fairly quiet. Recommended 10/10.

I was feeling very sick when I arrived, and we got there well before the official check-in time. The staff quickly got our room ready in 15 min without hesitation. I had a wonderful stay and was especially impressed by the professional service. Thank you so much.

This is my go to place in Panajachel. There are lots of plants and spots to relax, and the hotel itself is beautiful. The location is perfect, close to the main strip. Breakfast is delicious, the rooms are spacious with comfortable beds, and the staff are incredible, kind, friendly, and work hard to make the stay comfortable.

I loved staying at Villas Jabel Tinamit. It was a breath of fresh air, with flowers, plants, and beautiful murals outside. The staff were helpful and courteous, and the spacious room had opening windows, a large fan, and a hair dryer. They also lend umbrellas for rainy nights. The beds and pillows were so comfortable that I had my best sleep here and didn’t want to leave. There’s a terrace where you can sit and read or catch the sunrise or sunset. The location is perfect for walking to Santander road for restaurants and local artisans, and down to Lake Atitlán. Breakfast and coffee were included, with a few menu items to choose from. I had the Típico breakfast, and it was delicious. I highly recommend this hotel.
