We stayed here together on December 1, 2025. The food left both of us with severe food poisoning that took several days to get over, and the room had a really foul smell. I wouldn't recommend staying here.

The restaurant got everything just right, and the service there was excellent. The rooms were comfortable and clean, with showers that had very hot water and strong pressure. It's a very nice hotel, and I'll stay here again next time I'm in Puerto Barrios.
