Green Resort

There's a zoo area here, so ask about it. A baby deer was sleeping about six feet from my door, and it seemed safe and content. It's a pretty amazing and unexpected place to find a hotel like this. Getting there is another matter, though, the road is in pretty bad shape.

We paid before we could even enter the rooms, and they refused to refund us after we complained. I'd booked four rooms without being told what condition they were in. When we arrived, they looked nothing like the photos. They were filthy, poorly built, and apparently hadn't been cleaned. There was mold, a strong musty smell covered up with air fresheners, mouse droppings, and insects. The supposed administrator wasn't there in person. Everything had to be dealt with by phone or WhatsApp, and she was rude and didn't resolve our problem. The property looked abandoned. We also saw deer, monkeys, and macaws kept in captivity, seemingly in poor conditions, which may be illegal and could amount to animal abuse.

I was browsing hotels in the area and this one caught my eye, but it doesn't seem to be what it claims to be. From the comments I've read, it feels like the people posting either live or work there. Anyone leaving negative comments clearly knows what a five-star hotel is, or at least a three-star one.

A lovely place for a weekend away or a couples' holiday, surrounded by nature. Families can enjoy the natural setting too and spend time strengthening their bonds.
