Bayview Hotel Guam

The balcony sunsets were stunning, and you can walk to restaurants, bars, an ABC Store, and Tagada Amusement Park. But the room was rough: I killed two roaches on day one, then spotted another come out from under the bed while I was watching TV. The AC barely did anything, even at its coldest setting, and the room stayed above 83°. The dehumidifier needed emptying several times a day, and the buildup inside looked pretty gross. With the cleanliness and comfort problems, I wouldn't recommend staying here.

The room was comfortable, with good air conditioning, cozy beds and blankets, and comfortable towels. I booked a Deluxe 2 Queens. There’s a mini-mart in the lobby, and an ABC store, restaurants, and an amusement park are within walking distance, a little farther down the hill. You don’t get an oceanfront view, but you can see the bay in the distance. Ms. Gabby at the front desk was welcoming and knew the answers to my reservation questions. It felt like good value, and I’d be happy to stay again. ☺️

We were back home after eight years away, and the clean, convenient place and kind staff made our welcome back feel just right. My husband and I stayed for 10 days, and everyone we met, from housekeeping and maintenance to the front desk, was respectful and hospitable, with that lovely pacifika charm. Delaine and Juliet were especially wonderful. I hope I have their names right. They were always cheerful and caring whenever they saw me, no matter the time, and both had such a professional, inviting way about them. I loved the stay and will recommend Bayview to family and friends because of those two ladies. Please give them a raise. ❤️

The road out front can be noisy, so an oscillating fan in the room helps cover it up. White noise makes a difference here. For an older hotel, it has the amenities you need for a pleasant stay, plus a spacious room, cold AC, and an open view from both the room and even the bathroom.
