Lotte Hotel - Guam

The oceanfront view was amazing. We could see all of Tumon Beach, and it finally clicked why people come to Guam. Our room was clean and spacious, and the things I’d requested, a bed guard and dehumidifier, were already there. After check-in we asked for a step stool, iron and ironing board, and drying rack. Having the rack for wet swimsuits and clothes was so handy. The pool was clean and lovely, with beach towels and life vests provided. The kids’ pool was great too, and I loved the main waterslide enough to go on it a couple of times myself. A short set of stairs led down to the private beach, and there was a standing shower to rinse off the sand before returning to the pool. My daughter loved the Kids English Program and Dream High Playground, where she spent three hours, a great rainy-day option. Breakfast had a nice range, the Bulgogi burger at the deli was so good, and Starbucks drinks didn’t disappoint. Housekeeping were friendly and quick to bring things, and the convenience store had plenty of Korean products, including cup noodles, instant rice, and drinks. Happy rental car was right beside the front desk. We rented a car for one day and drove just 16 miles to the mall and market, which shows how much we liked staying in. Everyone from concierge, front desk, deli, restaurant, pool, and housekeeping was kind and helpful from the moment we arrived. David at concierge welcomed us, and Ashley and Yebin at the front desk made us feel at home. Ashley went above and beyond on our first Guam trip, arranging a room upgrade when my daughter wanted a higher floor and getting us delicious birthday macarons. She checked on us throughout the week, and my daughter still talks about her. Yebin was thoughtful and checked on us too. Special thanks to Sophie, Ethan, Jason, and Andy at the desk for being friendly, professional, and taking care of what we needed. As a former hotelier, this is the kind of team I’d want working under me. They understand hospitality and went out of their way to make the stay memorable. We loved our week at the Lotte Hotel Guam and will come back, maybe in a couple of weeks. Thank you for making our first Guam trip so special, and I hope this long review helps someone.

We stayed one night in a standard room and two nights in the Poolside Suite for our wedding at Lotte Hotel’s Aqua Symphony Chapel in September 2025. The chapel’s decor, view, and warm rustic feel were beautiful, and the grand piano made a lovely visual feature. The live violinist sounded magical in the space. We appreciated being able to decorate creatively to match our vision, and there was a small bridal waiting area before the aisle. The air conditioning was generally cool, though a large crowd made it humid. The entrance is only stairs, about three big steps, which could be hard for guests with mobility issues, but drop-off at the front is possible for those who can’t walk the full distance. We’ll always remember getting married here. The standard room was better than expected, with a small kitchen area, large living room and TV, two beds, a closet, and a clean, well-kept bathroom. Furniture was a bit dated and the balcony faced a building wall, but the outdoor space was nice for fresh air. It comfortably fit my groom, his eight groomsmen, and others from the wedding party. The Poolside Suite was incredible, with a luggage table, large fridge, roomy living room and TV, separate bedroom with two large beds and another TV, and a luxurious marble bathroom. The air conditioning was excellent, and there was enough space for my eight bridesmaids, other wedding party members, and a hair and makeup station. There were lovely photo spots and lots of lounge areas too. We thoroughly enjoyed the stay and would recommend it to family and friends. Professional Photo credit: Stel Star Event Services

The views were spectacular, the location was great, and the food was delicious. Service was amazing, especially at the front desk. Our room’s AC didn’t work well, even after a technician checked it, but we still had a wonderful stay and I highly recommend the hotel.

The building and utilities are old, but staff were very friendly and quick to respond to requests. We were comfortable during the stay, and it seems like a good choice for families.
