Oriental Suites

I stayed for two nights, but unfortunately I won’t return. Before going in, I asked the cleaner if she’d finished mopping, and she said it was okay to enter. I took my shoes off, walked from one side of the room to the other, and my feet ended up dusty and black. The mirrors and glass washroom doors hadn’t been cleaned, the sink was dirty, and the toilet seat was cracked. I travel here a lot, but I won’t come back to this spot.

The room wasn’t properly cleaned, and there was no blanket. When I asked the cleaner for one, she gave me a dirty one that smelled of perfume. The sink had been used and left uncleaned. I had to ask for cleaning, and when staff came, I had to specifically ask them to clean the toilet and sink. Otherwise, they’d just sweep and wipe the floor. At 5:30 am on my last day, I woke up to find the bathroom ceiling had fallen down. I went downstairs and told the receptionist. He came up to look, then said he’d tell Abby, another receptionist. I waited until 10:30 am, but nobody contacted me to say what was happening or whether they’d move me to another room. I packed my things and asked for a refund for the rest of my stay. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.

There’s a smell when you first walk in. I guess after a while you get used to it.

The mattress was just a two-inch piece of sponge on a base, and the TV didn’t work.
