9 Boutique Hotel

I slept better here than anywhere during my stay, and the shower had excellent water pressure. The room was comfortable, clean and spacious, while the location put me right in the center of everything. Thank you for such a positive experience, I had a wonderful stay!

I spent 9 nights at 9 Boutique Hotel and had a decent stay. The location was perfect, very close to Causeway Station, 7-11, Circle K and malls. Self check-in was easy and convenient, with a small envelope containing my room passcode. The staff were really nice. Dorothy got me the supplies I needed and answered all my questions thoroughly, and the cleaning staff were friendly. Having a microwave and air fryer was handy for preparing instant meals. My room, 506, wasn’t in the best hygienic condition. There was an evident moldy smell in the area between the bathroom and room door. My boyfriend found old underwear and a pair of glasses in the crevice between the bed and wall. We didn’t take photos as we just wanted to get rid of the stuff. The drainage was below average too, and the shower stall floor got very wet every time I showered. The room is a bit small. I’d say it’s perfect for solo travel, but if you’re with a travel buddy, keep in mind there may not be much space.

I chose 9 Boutique Hotel mainly because it was close to my father's place in Happy Valley, and it turned out to suit my return to Hong Kong after more than 10 years. Shopping and dining were just a stone's throw away, and the central location made it easy to explore the city and its attractions. The place felt neat and homey, and the room cleanliness was satisfactory. I saw staff picking up professionally washed linens and delivering them every day. I was there for more than two weeks, so the smart TV was a thoughtful extra for relaxing after a day out. The comfortable, plush mattress also made it easy to get a restful night's sleep after sightseeing. I appreciated the helpful, friendly staff. On departure day, a maid walked with me to the nearby bus stop for the airport bus. Her help made it easy to find, and without her guidance I might not have realized I could take the bus. I felt at home during my stay, and the location, cleanliness, comfort and staff all exceeded my expectations. I’d highly recommend this guest house to anyone visiting Hong Kong.

I appreciated how friendly and accommodating the hotel staff were. The microwave and air fryer were a nice surprise and made it easy to prepare meals, and being able to rent a power bank was a life saver. The comfort made this hotel easy to recommend.
