Geo Home Holiday Hotel

The place was easy to find, and everything worked properly, including the air conditioning, lights, shower, and heater. Our room and bathroom were clean, and it was very quiet. The one downside was that the room smelled of cigarettes on our last night. Still, I’d recommend staying here. 🙂

This little hostel is right in the heart of Mong Kok, with food, pharmacies, department stores, and electronics shops in every direction. I only realized in my last few days that the super secret hot toys secret base was about a two-minute walk away, so I missed out. The staff were super friendly and the price was low. My room was tiny, as expected, and had no window, but that actually made it easier for me to crash and sleep. There are bigger rooms for two, for three or four, and a family room across from mine with six beds, big windows, and a city view.

For this part of Kowloon, H.K., this budget hotel is one of the better options around. Mrs. Kitty Tsai and Karen are courteous and very professional. Call ahead to reserve, though they’ll still do their best to help if you haven’t.

It’s cheap and comfortable, and the staff are really nice, especially Kitty. Mong Kok station is close, and from there everything feels nearby. One of the best places to stay in Hong Kong.
